Life and Paradise

Recently I found these two images in my laptop. These are drawn by my daughter.

Title: Life

Title: Paradise

Intrigued by the titles, I spent hours deliberating the artworks. I wanted to find out a 10-year-old’s understanding of Life and Paradise. I tried to study the thought process that might have gone in, in creating these because they look like the works of a Thinker.

When I got home, I called her over from the playground and asked her to explain the arts.

She casually looked at it and said: “I can’t believe you called me over for these. I don’t remember why I named them so. If you don’t like the names, change it”

Kids are hilarious, and are usually more philosophical than they give themselves credit for! Thanks for the read x
