Saving Private: A ‘Part’ of the Story

The Post

A good friend and a regular player in our Friday Football Club once suffered an injury to his private part while playing.  Initially the injury didn’t look so serious to him. Days later, he realized the pain had still not abated and the ‘part’ was also beginning to swell.

He couldn’t fancy the idea of consulting a doctor. Even the thought of standing naked in front of a doctor embarrassed him. He decided to wait for another week and hoped his injury would cure all by itself.

The next week, the pain became unbearable and his ‘part’ had swelled up to the size of a BT brinjal. He realized it was time he did something about it. He needs to save his Private ‘Ryan’.

He was still uneasy about visiting a hospital, but he had no other option. He made up his mind and went to a hospital which is also a medical college. In the reception, he specifically told he wanted to meet a male doctor.

The girl at the reception promptly assigned a male doctor. The doctor took him to a bed which was covered at all four sides by long curtains. He felt his privacy is secure. The doctor examined. He scribbled something on his notepad. And then, he opened the curtains!

“Students, come here, there’s a very unique case here”, he called out. My friend was aghast, his throat dried. He wanted to run away.

A group of twenty girls in white coat rushed to his bed. They all stood around the bed, keenly watching. He felt like a man lying naked in the middle of a football stadium.  He thought he should have rather killed himself than being in the situation that he was.

Then, as he lay with his pant down, with girls standing all around and taking notes, he was in a dilemma. The dilemma was not about whether he can rightfully call his ‘part’, ‘Private’ anymore, but whether to keep his eyes closed or open!

Mind boggling Moral indeed, Joshi…..LOL. Inspite of your declared intent to disguise humour & substitute it with some serious stuff, it was hilarious to the core…I think u did that deliberately to create a suspense & make it even more funny. Be ready to receive some calls from the real Eldo’s in the meanwhile..Ha ha …..
