Travelling Tomato Man!

These days I get to travel more frequently. Sometimes on paid assignments and sometimes a leisure trip with friends. But wherever I go, I go with less baggage and with no specific plan. I don’t spend more than 10 minutes for packing whether it’s long journey or a short one. I rarely carry more than one bag and that one bag would include my clothes and all my camera accessories.

‘Travel light’ is my motto, but it isn’t without any side effects. Very often I find myself inadequately dressed and short on clothes to change into. In my latest trip (to Gujarat), I was hunting for a sweater and thermal when time was running out to catch a bus to airport.

In one of my previous travels, I realized I had forgotten to carry extra underwear and I ended up buying from a ‘Pay 100 Rs and get 3 pieces’ offer sale from a road-side platform, and for the next two days, I was the brand ambassador for ‘Ram Villas’ underwear.

At times, my ‘travel light’ motto has seen me land in a wild life sanctuary with an ultra wide angle lens, and as you may know, I have come back with unique and never-seen-before images of wildlife. If you haven’t seem them yet, you may not want to miss now. Click here.

But, so far, luckily enough, the lack of ‘planning’ in terms of places to visit or things to do haven’t backfired, instead, they have given me unpredicted experiences which always gave me great fun. Friends, I will be posting my travel tales soon. I will give you the tales in a ‘light read’ mode to keep it in line with the motto, ‘Travel Light’.

About Joshi Mukard (100 Articles)
The author is a wandering soul with no place to call 'home-town'. He was born in Kerala, brought up in several parts of Tamil Nadu, and currently living in Bangalore, shifting his base across the city on a yearly basis with fellow (unfortunate) wanderers, his wife (Libena) and little daughter (Tanaya). Despite all these, the author is a happy soul with no complaints on anything. He wakes up in the morning and sleeps at night and in-between he ducks, stumbles and dances through this world.

Dude i suggest u to relinquish the idea of taking any baggage itself, as it will add more thrill & adventure…That way u will be able to promote more local undergarment brands, which will help the local economy. Lol…
